Through my studies and my professional career, sustainability and innovation have become the guiding themes of my work. That’s why I enjoy working on bioeconomy, food and energy projects at FirstBlue.
I have more than 25 years of experience as a grant specialist with a focus on financial and grant resources, business concept development, market research & market analysis and management of projects funded by international donor organizations (EU, EBRD, World Bank).
At FirstBlue, I can optimally combine my technical knowledge with my strengths in communication and consulting. Using my technical insight, I support our customers in identifying and successfully applying for suitable funding. I am especially fascinated by the constant contact with innovative companies and their ideas.
I was able to get to know the world of funding and grants while I was doing my doctorate in the field of electrocatalysis. Funding fascinates me because it makes innovative ideas possible and supports organisations in reaching their goals.
What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to make a tangible difference by helping businesses and organizations secure the resources they need for innovation and growth.
I try to be a versatile partner. After all, grants are relevant to all kinds of themes and (societal) developments. These often result in long-lasting and substantive contacts. This is what motivates me.
I look forward to putting my experience in the field of partnership brokering, policy development and project management within UN and EU institutions, NGOs and the private sector to good use at FirstBlue.
With already several years of experience in the EU finance sector, I am passionate about supporting clients in securing EU funds and constantly expanding my knowledge by exploring new industries
