Who can submit a project proposal?
Eureka is for all organisations that conduct market-oriented research & development in all technology and application areas. To be eligible your organisation should be located in one of the countries in the Eureka network.
What is the goal of the Eureka programme?
This programme is for entrepreneurs and institutions with international ambitions, and has two objectives:
- Stimulate economic growth by promoting technological collaboration between companies.
- Develop and implement joint solutions for economic, strategic, and societal issues.
Programmes and Clusters
Eureka includes various programmes and clusters:
- Eurostars: for SMEs that develop market-oriented, new technologies with European partners.
- Globalstars: for exploration through international R&D with countries outside the Eureka network.
- Innowwide: for innovative SMEs to investigate whether international markets are ripe for their R&D products or services.
- Eureka cluster Xecs: for collaboration between European companies and knowledge institutions in the field of research and development in micro- and nanoelectronics.
- Eureka cluster ITEA4: for collaboration between companies, knowledge institutions, and universities that conduct research into the development of software-intensive systems and services.
- Eureka cluster Celtic-Next: for collaboration between European entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions for market-oriented R&D in the telecommunications industry.
- Eureka cluster Eurogia: for sustainable energy solutions.
