Horizon Europe encourages researchers, businesses, and governments to invest in large-scale and groundbreaking innovations within Europe. As such, the Horizon Europe programme is also the most ambitious and innovative research initiative within the EU. A total budget of € 95.5 billion has been allocated for the entire duration of the programme, which will be made available through various funding calls over the years. With this budget, the European Commission aims to support science, foster innovation, and address current societal challenges across the European Union.
